Career Prospectus in Mechanical Engineering

Mechanical Engineering is an evergreen and ever flourishing branch of Engineering because the demand of mechanical engineer is in every industry in India as well as in abroad. A pass out diploma holder in Mechanical Engineering can work in Government and Private Sectors. He can work in manufacturing industries, Marketing and Servicing Sectors. A Mechanical Engineer has wide scope of employment, few of them explained as under.

CNC Machine Operator

CNC machine operators, or CNC machinists, manage computer numeric controlled (CNC) equipment from setup to operation, producing parts and tools from different resources including metal and plastic. They're tasked with monitoring machinery, inspecting finished products and leading test runs ensuring desired outputs. Industries dealing in products made of Plastics and foams, Vinyl, Wood & Ply boards, Paper & cards, Metals, Glass, Fabric and leather require these job profiles.

Boiler Operator

Boiler operators in industries like Cheema Boilers, Roopnagar, Punjab perform a range of tasks involved in day-to-day operation and maintenance of boilers. They ensure appropriate fuel delivery to keep the boiler working. Operators devote significant time to monitoring meters and gauges to maintain fuel, chemical and water levels, adjusting the levels as necessary.
