Integration of Artificial Intelligence into Technical Education


In accordance with the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) guidelines for integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) into higher and technical education, Government Polytechnic College Behram, in collaboration with Lovely Professional University, Phagwara organized a specialized workshop today. Dr. Jimmy Singla, a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at Lovely Professional University, delivered an engaging lecture on the fundamentals and challenges of AI.

Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav Celebration Summary at GPC Behram


Govt Polytechnic College, Behram celebrated “Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign” under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav planned by Government of India to pay homage to India’s freedom movement and freedom fighters and to instill a feeling of patriotism and pride in children. The college organized multifarious activities like patriotic quiz, poem recitation and poster-making in a three-day event. A large number of students participated with enthusiasm. It infused patriotic and motivational feeling among students. They showcased their patriotism through poems and immersed the college with patriotic fervour. Also, an awareness campaign was conducted in campus to make Har Ghar Tiranga program a grand success. In the camp, all the students and staff were encouraged to participate in the Har Ghar Tiranga activity. The Principal of the college distributed National Flags among the students and staff of the college and asked them to hoist it on the rooftop of their homes to celebrate “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”.

A flag hoisting ceremony was organized on the college premises to mark the Independence Day. During this, the school premises resonated with the slogans of Bharat Mata Ki Jai and Vande Mataram. Followed by flag hoisting ceremony, a Tiranga rally was organized to promote the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign and to raise awareness regarding the struggle of national heroes and freedom fighters of India. The rally covered a distance around the campus. Students and staff members were holding the Tiranga flag and raised patriotic slogans and songs during the rally. The winners of the various competitions held on the occasion of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav were felicitated. To culminate the function, the college management arranged distribution of sweets to all the students of the college.
